Job Summary

About the role

  1. Be a Kiwa Ambassador, embodying ambition, reliability, and engagement.
  2. Lead and implement a comprehensive H&S strategy aligned with organisational goals.
  3. Foster a proactive, safety-first culture across all levels of the organisation.
  4. Ensure compliance with local, national, and international H&S regulations.
  5. Drive risk management by identifying, assessing, and mitigating potential hazards.
  6. Provide leadership and training to equip teams with effective H&S practices.
  7. Collaborate with global colleagues to align UK H&S practices with group strategies.
  8. Oversee H&S training programs to enhance awareness and capabilities.
  9. Investigate incidents to identify root causes and prevent future occurrences.
  10. Report on H&S performance, including key metrics and progress on improvement actions.
  11. Engage with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to maintain compliance and best practices.

Do you have what it takes?

  1. Recognised professional in Occupational Health & Safety or a related field.
  2. Proven experience in a senior H&S role, ideally in a similar industry.
  3. Strong knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
  4. Leadership experience managing large-scale H&S programs across multiple sites.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and drive a safety-first culture.
  6. Skilled in risk management, problem-solving, and compliance.
  7. Strong planning, organisational, and project management abilities.
  8. Self-starter with a proactive, hands-on approach to challenges.
  9. Experienced in balancing customer, employee, and shareholder needs.
  10. Willing to travel frequently as needed.
  11. Flexible, reliable, and results-oriented team player.

What can you expect from us in return?

  1. £60,000 - £70,000 per annum
  2. £5,600 Car Allowance
  3. Generous Annual Leave – Starting at 25 days plus Bank Holidays, with the option to buy additional leave and increased entitlement with length of service
  4. 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday, remote role with frequent travel
