Real Recruitment Solutions in Bournemouth is seeking a confident Head of Groups & Events to join our management team and help drive the business forward. You will lead the Groups & Events Coordination Team and work closely with the Revenue Manager to identify growth opportunities.

The role requires a proven track record in events sales and coordination, excellent communication, and solid IT skills to handle CRM and hotel back-of-house systems.

JOB: Head of Groups Events

SALARY £35,000 - £40,000

Role Description

We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Head of Groups & Events to join our management team and help to drive our business forward. With some exciting new projects coming up, this is an exciting time to join us on our events journey. As our Head of Groups & Events, you will:

• Have a proven track record of sales within the hospitality and tourism sector
• Have a solid understanding of events operations to effectively plan and coordinate
• Communicate well to ensure all event details are disseminated effectively
• Be a confident leader to motivate and guide our Groups & Events Coordination Team
• Work closely with our Revenue Manager to identify opportunities for growth
• Have solid IT skills to be comfortable working with CRM and hotel back of house systems

This role would suit a candidate with a proven track record in events sales and coordination and with excellent communication skills.

This is a full-time role including 42.5 hours per week Monday-Friday as standard with occasional Saturdays where needed (around once or twice per month). We are looking for people with the desire to learn and grow in an environment that encourages you to use your flair to deliver amazing experiences for our clients.
