HEAD OF GROUP PROCUREMENT - INFRASTRUCTURE (Tier 1 Construction Major)

This market-leading construction contractor seeks an experienced procurement professional to join their organization in a key leadership role managing significant infrastructure programs.

You will be a critical part of the Leadership Team, transforming and delivering Procurement's vision, strategy, and operating model.

As an Executive, you will lead a multi-billion-pound spend, aiming to achieve multi-million-pound savings. This role also offers a great opportunity to manage and develop a high-performing team.

The client is flexible on your base location but expects travel to stakeholders and suppliers as needed.

Responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing key category strategies for diverse spend areas, managing major construction infrastructure procurement projects.
• Building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with leading Tier 1 construction suppliers.
• Managing, mentoring, and coaching experienced sourcing and procurement professionals.
• Participating in winning new business, with regular interactions with the CEO and business executives.

Required Experience:

• Leadership experience in construction infrastructure procurement, including NEC3 and JCT contracts.
• Managing teams of 10 or more.
• Excellent stakeholder management with regular board-level interactions.
• Proven success in managing multi-million-pound procurement spends and achieving significant cost savings.
• Degree and MCIPS (preferred but not essential).
