Job Title Head of Group Portfolio Management

The Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) function provides a cross-risk view of the Bank's risk profile across risk types, businesses and geographies. The function also owns risk type overarching responsibility for key risk management capabilities, like risk appetite, risk identification and group wide stress testing, and is the risk controlling function for credit risk.

The Group Portfolio Management team reports to the Head of Group Portfolio and Climate Risk.

Your key responsibilities
  • Providing a holistic view of the Bank's risk profile and portfolio developments across risk types, geographies, legal entities and business units, including setting and owning the frameworks for country, industry and asset class risk management
  • Providing portfolio insights that drive senior level decision-making through comprehensive observation, self-directed views on risk themes, and ad-hoc deep-dives
  • Identification of new and emerging risks and the oversight of deep dive analyses on the potential impacts of, and required actions to mitigate, those risks
  • Leading a team of ~10 people spanning Germany, UK and India, and instilling a one team mindset. As well as engaging with and influencing key stakeholders, including senior Chief Risk Office (CRO) management and regulators
  • Working in partnership, and improving collaboration, across risk stripes
  • Implementing solutions that support the Bank's vision, goals, and strategy, whilst understanding the regulatory landscape

Your skills and experience
  • Deep knowledge of cross risk management principles and practices within a global bank
  • Extensive experience engaging senior stakeholders including regulators within a high pressure, time sensitive and rapidly evolving environment
  • A strong desire to challenge the status quo, a disciplined execution mindset and an energetic, can-do attitude
