Job summary

Suffolk New College in Ipswich seeks a dynamic manager to lead the operational and strategic delivery of Green Skills programmes across Engineering, Construction & Building Technologies. The role also manages Netzero Spaces and champions sustainability in teaching and college culture.

You will teach hours as required and hold a relevant degree or professional qualification, with maths/english at level 2 and a level-5 teaching qualification. Multi-campus duties include travel between sites.

Qualifications

Proven ability to lead and develop teams in an educational setting.
Experience with T Levels, Apprenticeship standards, HE and higher-level programmes.
Ability to build and develop effective relationships with employers and stakeholders.
Creative approaches delivering exceptional student experiences and outcomes.
Experience collaborating with external organisations to promote sustainability.

Responsibilities

Lead on operational and strategic aspects of Green Skills programmes within Engineering, Construction & Building Technologies.
Manage Netzero Skills Centre spaces and champion sustainability across the college.
Promote teaching and learning in sustainability to learners and curriculum teams.
Undertake some teaching hours in a related subject area.
Collaborate with external organisations and maintain partnerships.
