Are you a strategic pricing leader with deep experience in professional services? Our client—a global professional services firm—is seeking a Head of Global Pricing to establish and execute a comprehensive global pricing strategy that reflects the complexities of time-based billing models and client-specific pricing requirements.

This is a pivotal 12-month fixed-term role, ideal for someone who understands the nuances of pricing in a billable-hours environment and can bring clarity, structure, and strategic direction to global pricing operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and lead a global pricing strategy tailored to the dynamics of a billable-hours model with variable rate structures across regions, services, and client needs.
  2. Analyse and benchmark competitor pricing, client behaviour, and market trends within the professional services sector.
  3. Partner with partners, client teams, and commercial leads to support pricing on complex bids, proposals, and renewals.
  4. Provide data-driven insights for fee negotiations, alternative fee arrangements, and value-based pricing models.
  5. Establish and manage pricing tools, policies, and governance frameworks to drive consistency and profitability.
  6. Monitor and report on pricing KPIs, margin performance, and the financial impact of pricing decisions.
  7. Support the development of client-specific pricing models that balance commercial objectives with long-term relationship value.
  8. Prepare and present pricing reports and recommendations to global leadership.
Skills & Experience:
  • Significant experience in consulting or other professional services pricing.
  • Expertise in global pricing strategy development and implementation.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience with profitability analysis, pricing dashboards, and strategic modelling.
  • A commercial mindset with the ability to influence stakeholders and challenge assumptions.
  • Proven success operating in global or multi-jurisdictional environments.
  • Comfortable working with ambiguity and leading through change.
  • Immediate or short-notice availability.

This is an exciting opportunity to autonomously shape pricing strategy at a global level, within an environment where pricing directly impacts client relationships, profitability, and long-term success.
