Your new role:

We are looking for a strategic and collaborative Head of Global IT Support to lead the transformation and delivery of IT services across our international operations. This is a key leadership role, acting as the main point of contact for senior stakeholders on all IT support matters, while driving continuous improvement, service excellence, and global alignment in a fast-moving, customer-focused organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the primary partner for Regional Directors (RDs), Managing Directors (MDs), and IT Managers on IT support-related topics.
  • Lead the development and implementation of a global IT support strategy aligned with business goals.
  • Manage and coordinate regional and local IT support teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure the reliable delivery of IT services with a strong focus on performance, security, and user experience.
  • Embed ITIL-based best practices and service management processes across all support operations.
  • Align IT support strategy with business requirements, keeping a customer-first and globally scalable approach.
  • Manage vendor contracts and relationships to ensure value for money and service quality.
  • Oversee IT support budgets and resource planning to meet operational demands and strategic priorities.
  • Drive ongoing innovation and service optimisation across the IT support landscape.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Significant experience in a global IT support or IT service leadership role.
  • Proven ability to inspire and lead multicultural, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong knowledge and implementation experience of ITIL frameworks.
  • Demonstrated ability to align IT strategy with wider business goals.
  • Strong analytical thinking, risk management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Experience managing vendors and third-party service providers.
  • A sound understanding of cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory compliance.
  • Budgeting and resource planning experience in a multi-site/global context.

This is a full-time, permanent position. Weekly hours are 38.75 hours, Monday to Friday 8:45am to 5:30pm, however, flexibility will be required for this role. The role is being offered as a remote option with travel to Head Office Germany and within Group as required.
