Overview

Head of Global Demand Excellence is a key leadership role responsible for defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the Demand CofE. This role will lead the evolution of the Demand planning function delivering new and enhanced capabilities and operational excellence, driving GSK to be an industry leader. By embracing and enhancing data, digital, and analytical capabilities, combined with simplification and standardizing ways of working the Head of Demand Excellence will maximize business performance in the short and long term.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver a range of strategic and operational initiatives to ensure GSK's leadership in the industry
  • Build and evolve Demand Planning capability across GSK
  • Represent Demand in various Global S&OP meetings, collaborating with Supply Chain, Finance, and Commercial colleagues to provide valuable insights for optimal decisions
  • Lead a matrix team, including remote and cross-time zone direct reports, to achieve business objectives in line with GSK values and purpose
  • Implement processes and governance standards that focus on doing the right thing while maximizing business benefits and continuous improvement through KPI oversight and process adherence
Basic Qualifications
  • Strong people leadership experience in Demand Planning & Consensus Forecasting or S&OP, with expertise in deploying digital and automated forecasting solutions
  • Subject matter expertise in Demand Forecasting, with knowledge of process design, lean sigma, and advanced planning solutions including OMP, S4 Hana, and AI Forecasting solutions
  • Proven experience in organizational and process design, simplification, standardization, improvement, and roll-out across a global organization
  • Experience leading multi-functional teams within a matrix environment
  • Large-scale business transformation and change leadership experience
  • Senior stakeholder management skills and experience engaging business customers

  • Ability to advocate and influence at all levels, including VP level and above
  • Networking skills both internally and externally
  • Collaborative work within the wider End to End (E2E) CofE team and other partners within GSK
