Alzheimer Scotland is seeking a Senior Leader for their Fundraising & Engagement Team. This full-time role focuses on developing a diverse fundraising portfolio to support essential services for people facing dementia. Ideal candidates will have a proven leadership track record, exceptional communication skills, and experience in fundraising or the commercial sector.
Contract: 1 permanent, full-time position, 35 hours per week
Salary: £47,000 to £50,000.03

Leading Alzheimer Scotland’s Fundraising & Engagement Team, the key purpose of this role is to develop and sustain a multifaceted fundraising portfolio that supports the charity’s self-funded services, including Dementia Resource Centres, the 24-hour Freephone Dementia Helpline, and the national dementia advisory service, aligning with Alzheimer Scotland’s mission: to ensure nobody faces dementia alone.
Alzheimer Scotland is Scotland’s national dementia charity. We provide support and information to people with dementia, their carers, and families. We campaign for the rights of people with dementia, support vital dementia research, and promote positive brain health.
The ideal candidate will have experience leading, inspiring, and nurturing a diverse Fundraising, Commercial, or Communications Team to grow and retain a supporter network. You should possess exceptional communication skills, the ability to collaborate across internal and external networks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong resource management, motivation, organization, attention to detail, excellent IT skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently are essential.
A full and valid driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for this role.
