Location: Initially with Youth Moves at The Park Centre, Daventry Road, BS4 1DQ. Moving into the brand new ‘224 Youth Zone’ once the building is completed, BS4 1XE.

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000 (dependent upon experience) with 33 days Holiday (inclusive of bank holidays)

Reporting to: Chief Executive Officer, Youth Moves

Contract: Permanent full-time, 37.5 hours per week

As Head of Fundraising and Communications at 224 Youth Zone, you’ll play a vital senior leadership role, working with the Chief Executive, Board of Trustees, and Executive Team to deliver an annual income of £1.4m and establish a strong financial foundation for our new Youth Zone.

You’ll develop and drive our income strategy, lead a high-performing Fundraising and Communications team, and personally manage relationships with key major donors, including local individuals and businesses supporting our Founder Patron campaign and fundraising strategy.

Founder Patrons pledge a minimum of 4 years of financial support, ensuring that 224 is in a strong financial position to transform the lives of thousands of young people across our city.

Key functions of the role in the eighteen months will be:

  1. Acquisition, stewardship, and renewal of Founder Patrons.
  2. The creation of a fundraising and communications strategy to diversify income beyond the Founder Patron programme, including the launch of a grants and trusts programme, and mid-value major donor & corporate giving programme.
  3. Recruitment and embedding of the new fundraising & communications team.
