Job Description:

About the role.

As Head of Product & Communications, you are responsible for optimizing our Product performance in line with the FS business plan, supporting retail sales, and contributing to the delivery of the FS P&L, specifically, key income lines.

You will lead a team of Product Management & Commercial and Marketing Managers, focusing on performance, ethical behavior, accountability, good conduct, and customer outcomes to meet annual P&L targets across FS Products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and implement initiatives that serve families on a budget while ensuring profitable growth.
  • Manage the performance of new strategic FS product initiatives.
  • Support retail sales through correct payment options.
  • Report on product performance and strategy to senior management.
  • Chair governance and commercial committees.
  • Generate product ideas aligned with company strategy and market needs.
  • Conduct customer research and develop targeting strategies.
  • Design and optimize customer journeys for credit, insurance, and partner products.
  • Manage communication with customers in persistent debt to prevent harm.
  • Handle regulatory communications and ensure compliance with FCA regulations.
  • Monitor customer outcomes to ensure compliance with Consumer Duty.
  • Collaborate with legal and compliance teams for regulatory adherence.
