Job summary

JSS is seeking a Head of FP&A to lead budgeting, forecasting, and performance management as the business moves from a listed-company operating model to the pace, focus, and accountability of private equity ownership. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can bring structure and rigour quickly, while adapting reporting and planning processes to a new set of stakeholders and priorities.

Qualifications

• Senior FP&A leadership in PE-backed or similar high-performance environments.
• Experience in SaaS/technology or subscription businesses.
• Exposure to businesses around £100m revenue scale (guidance, not cutoff).
• Strong grasp of EBITDA, cash flow, leverage and value creation drivers.
• Proven track record partnering with Boards and sponsors, with credible leadership through ownership change.
• Comfort with ambiguity and tight timelines while maintaining accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Rebuild and own budgeting, rolling forecast and long-range planning aligned to value creation plan.
• Establish monthly performance packs for management and SLT with bridge analyses.
• Develop KPI dashboards and reporting cadences for sponsor and lenders.
• Lead scenario planning, downside/upside analyses and lender engagement.
• Drive cash flow discipline and working capital with strong forecasting discipline.
• Build financial models to support M&A, refinancing, integration and exit prep.
• Lead and develop the FP&A/FBP team through the change period.
