Job summary

In2 Consult is seeking a Head of FP&A in London to build a greenfield FP&A function within a private tech business turning over over £30m. You will own budgeting, forecasting and the data backbone, partnering with the C-suite to drive commercial decisions.

This role is hybrid with time in the London office and a clear path to leadership. You should bring hands-on FP&A experience in startups or scale-ups, exposure to manufacturing/hardware, and a drive to modernise systems using automation and

• Partner with department heads and the C-suite to turn numbers into commercial decisions.
• Lead finance projects as the business scales, acting as the right hand to the finance lead.
• Grow into team leadership as the function develops.

Head of FP&A - Permanent - London (Hybrid) - Up to £120,000

A privately owned technology business with manufacturing operations is hiring its first dedicated FP&A Lead. The business has grown past £30m turnover without outside funding. It now needs to professionalise its finance function as it prepares for the next stage of growth.

This is a chance to build FP&A from a blank sheet, working directly with the senior finance leader and the C-suite.

What you'll do

• Build the FP&A function from scratch, including the planning model, reporting and the core financial dataset the business runs on
• Shape the finance systems roadmap as the business moves beyond their existing systems, including planning tools, automation and AI
• Own budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis across short-term and long-range horizons
• Partner with department heads and the C-suite to turn the numbers into commercial decisions
• Lead finance projects as the business scales, acting as a right hand to the finance lead
• Grow into team leadership as the function develops

What you'll need
