Job Title: Interim Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)
Location: Alfreton - Hybrid Working Available
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000
Contract: 6 Month FTC
Elevation Recruitment Group is delighted to be exclusively supporting our client, a market-leading organisation based in Alfreton, in the appointment of an Interim Head of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) on a 6-month fixed-term contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially-minded and detail-driven finance professional to play a key role in providing accurate and insightful management information to Executive Management, supporting strategic decision-making across the Group.
As the Interim Head of FP&A, you will be responsible for:
Consolidating Group management accounts and delivering high-quality financial analysis
Partnering with Finance Business Partners to provide variance commentary vs. budget, forecast and prior year
Supporting Board and Executive Committee reporting with robust analysis and insights
Assisting with the consolidation and analysis of the Group Budget, monthly forecasting, and strategic planning, including scenario modelling
Working alongside the Head of Financial Reporting to ensure compliance with Group Accounting Policies
Conducting detailed reviews of P&L and balance sheet information to ensure data accuracy
Supporting the onboarding of acquisitions, ERP implementation, and intercompany reconciliations
Continuously evaluating and improving internal reporting processes
You will be a qualified finance professional (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with broad practical experience and a proven track record in:
Group-level consolidation, budgeting, and forecasting
Presenting financial insights to senior stakeholders
Strong Excel and financial modelling capabilities
Ideally, exposure to ERP implementations and/or the manufacturing sector
Excellent attention to detail
Strong analytical thinking and commercial awareness
Effective communicator and stakeholder relationship builder
Self-motivated and able to manage time and priorities independently
Proactive and committed to continuous improvement
