City of York Council has an exciting opportunity within Fleet and Environmental Services.
We are seeking an experienced manager and leader to oversee our Fleet, Waste, and Public Realm operations, as well as our Fleet compliance and asset management. The successful candidate will have experience managing a diverse council fleet crucial to delivering key services for the community. They will also demonstrate operational management and leadership of large front-line services that provide visible benefits to the residents of York.
The candidate should possess sound knowledge of health and safety oversight, fleet compliance, and operator licensing. Experience in managing large, frontline services, and familiarity with safety regulations is essential.
