IGA Talent Solutions are partnered with a London based Private Bank, who are about to receive a significant investment to grow their business further.

Three years ago, the bank launched a new investment service to complement their financial planning offering, allowing their high net worth clients to grow their money further, alongside their day to day banking and mortgages. This area has been identified as a key pillar in the development of the firm and will receive a good portion of the inbound investment.

Offering both investment advisory and investment management services, the team provides tailored, multi-asset investment solutions that allow clients to achieve their financial goals. Generally using a passive approach to investing and blending tracker funds from some of the world's best-known investment managers, our client provides a low-cost, effective investment portfolio with good liquidity to its customer base. For those wishing to take a more active approach, they can help select best in class third party fund managers or individual securities and build a diversified portfolio suitable for both long term and short term investing.

As AUM inflow is increasing, our client is looking to add further breadth and technical depth into the team and hire an asset class head to oversee all fixed income investment activity. The head of fixed income is an investment leadership position that covers the following:

• Fixed income product/proposition design and management
• Generating new investment ideas and opportunities
• Monitoring market events and regulation changes to identify opportunities and risks
• Analysis of individual securities (GILTs, inflation-linked, QCB) and selecting the most appropriate assets
• Advising external clients and internal teams as the fixed income specialist
• Collaborating with the wider investment leadership to best shape the fixed income portion of the investment portfolios
• Managing investment risk and adhering to compliance policies, working with specialists in each area

For this senior position, we are seeking candidates with:

• 10 - 20+ years of experience in private banking, wealth management, financial planning or another related field
• Deep experience in fixed income, either as an analyst, investment director, product strategist, portfolio manager, trader or similar
• Ability to take on a broad role, covering many aspects of the investment management process
• Good softer skills, collaborating well internally and effectively managing relationships with clients, communicating at all levels in appropriate terms
• Demonstrable technical skills in risk modelling and analysis
• Entrepreneurial flair, ambition and drive to build and create something special
