Job summary

Bradford City is seeking a Head of First Team Performance Analyst to lead the analysis department for the 46-game season. You will report to the First Team Manager and manage interns and placement students.

Interviews are planned for the week of 16 November. The role is based at the training ground in Bradford with travel to Valley Parade and away fixtures, and includes 40 hours per week with evenings and weekends required.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in a related subject.
• 3+ years of full-time first team performance analysis experience in elite football.
• Experience leading department workflows within a multidisciplinary backroom team.
• Advanced use of Hudl Sportscode, Hudl StatsBomb, Hudl Replay, Wyscout, Impect and Keynote.
• MSc in Performance Analysis or Sports Analytics and drone licence or UEFA B licence preferred.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and work irregular hours.

Responsibilities

• Lead and modernise the first team analysis department in line with the manager's playing style.
• Produce pre-match opposition reports and present them to the manager, coaches and players.
• Code matches live in Hudl Sportscode and deliver half-time and full-time clips through Hudl Replay and Studio.
• Deliver post-match reviews and support individual player development.
• Oversee training capture using static cameras and drones.
• Track performance across the 46-game season using StatsBomb, Wyscout and Impect.
• Build a tactical video database, automate workflows and work with the Head of Football and Recruitment.

Education

Undergraduate degree in a related subject

MSc in Performance Analysis or Sports Analytics

CAA drone licence (A2 CofC or GVC)
