Head of Financial Reporting
As the Head of Financial Reporting, you will play a key role in ensuring compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), the Financial Reporting Manual (FReM), and other government guidelines. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the production of the annual report and accounts, managing financial statements, and ensuring appropriate management review and escalation where necessary.
You will work closely with external auditors during the audit period to facilitate a seamless review process and ensure timely completion of financial reports. Additionally, you will analyse current financial processes to identify opportunities for improvement, implementing strategies to enhance efficiency and control.
Acting as a subject matter expert, you will provide technical accounting advice aligned with IFRS, FReM, and relevant government regulations. You will represent the finance function both internally and externally, contributing to key discussions on financial matters.You will also be responsible for motivating and developing your team, fostering a culture of growth, continuous learning, and excellence. In addition, you will advise senior leadership on corporate financial performance, risk management, and reporting requirements, while deputising for the Financial Controller when needed.
