A charity organization in Bristol is seeking a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis for maternity cover. This key role requires strong FP&A experience to manage financial reporting, budgeting cycles, and system improvements after implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365. A qualified accountant with excellent leadership skills is essential. The position offers generous leave and wellbeing days.
We're looking for a Head of Financial Planning & Analysis with FP&A experience to join our Finance Team as maternity cover for up to 12 months. You will be a key member of the finance team, engaging with key stakeholders across the organisation and responsible for the delivery of accurate, consistent reporting and forecasts of financial performance; leading the production of monthly management accounts; the analysis of financial performance; the budgeting and forecasting cycle and the long term planning for the charity. This role will lead the post-implementation period after the introduction of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and ensure the benefits are felt within the Finance team and the organisation more widely. The role holder will ensure that the new finance system is utilised to drive improvements in reporting and forecasting, including tighter reporting timeframes, improved management reports and information, and enhanced models for use in financial planning. The role is accountable for the development and delivery of team plans, and for managing the Finance Business Partners and the Management Accountant. This role is subject to a criminal record check (a basic check will be completed if you are shortlisted).
