Head of FP&A required for a Private Equity Telecoms Business in London!

£90,000 - £110,000 + bonus and benefits, dependant on experience

Stanton House is exclusively working with a Private Equity backed Telecoms business who are looking to hire a Senior Commercial Finance Manager. This is a hybrid role, 2 days per week spent in the office.

This role requires an accomplished Commercial Finance Manager to join an innovative and rapidly growing organization. The successful candidate will be integral in providing strategic financial guidance and support, ensuring that financial objectives align with organisational goals. With a focus on business partnering, financial planning, and analysis, this position offers the chance to significantly influence the company's trajectory.

Responsibilities shall include but not limited to:

  • Provide financial leadership and business partnering support to operational and commercial teams to enhance financial decision-making.
  • Lead and manage the financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes, ensuring they align with the company's strategic objectives and growth targets.
  • Develop and implement analytical tools and models to track and analyse financial performance, providing insights that drive business performance improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement financial strategies that align with business objectives and optimise commercial performance. Ensure a close and continuous relationship with relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitoring the business objectives and activities to drive decisions that yield the greatest commercial benefit.
  • Initiate and lead projects aimed at optimising financial processes and increasing efficiencies across all finance-related activities.
  • Provide financial support and guidance for new product development initiatives, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
  • Prepare and present financial reports, presentations, and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

To be suitable for this role you must have the following:

  • Qualified accountant with proven experience as a credible Finance Business Partner.
  • Has excellent commercial acumen, taking the time to understand business objectives and focusing on activity to yield the greatest commercial benefit.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Proficiency in financial modelling and experienced in utilizing advanced financial planning systems.
  • Ability to challenge norms, processes, and ways of working and drive positive change
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Demonstrable ability to influence senior personnel within large organisation and non-finance stakeholders.
