The post holder will lead three teams, driving accurate reporting, regulatory compliance, and successful year-end audits. Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the University’s Financial Accounting function, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting
  • Oversee annual accounts, monthly reporting, treasury management, and tax compliance
  • Safeguard research funding and support financial forecasting across academic divisions
  • Manage and enhance financial systems and income collection portals
  • Build strong relationships across the University to ensure smooth financial operations
  • Ensure robust controls to protect assets and meet regulatory and funding requirements
  • Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing finance team

Essential criteria:

  • CCAB Qualified Accountant
  • Extensive senior financial management experience in complex organisations
