Job Description:

This highly reputed organisation with revenues exceeding £5Bn seeks to appoint a talented Head of Finance to report to the board with responsibility for a large team in finance shared services.

With a leading role to evolve the structure and strategy, you will:

• Oversee the entire finance team to ensure the highest standard of service exists.
• Develop the effectiveness of finance through continuous training and development of your people to achieve high levels of performance.
• Develop, manage, and challenge the SSC key performance indicators, and continually review to maximise efficiency of the finance function.
• Lead and support managers of the teams to ensure delivery of all services within agreed budgets and to agreed targets.
• Support all managers in the identification, reporting, and management of risk and non-compliance, and act when required.

This role is suited to an enthusiastic professional team leader committed to developing high levels of performance. Of paramount importance is the ability to build first-class relationships within finance and the wider business.

Skills & Experience:

• Qualified Accountant.
• You must have broad and sustained Finance SSC and team management experience.
• Experience of designing, implementing, and operating robust financial controls.
• Strong track record delivering and heading up transformational programmes and projects.
• Proven experience in delivering and evaluating post-transformational change.
• A demonstrable track record of successfully shaping & implementing end-to-end processes and a culture of continuous improvements.
• Proven track record of delivering service in a fast-paced environment.
• Diligent and accurate.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Passion for service, warm, friendly, and genuine with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
