The Role:

You will oversee Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, and Finance Systems teams, ensuring seamless transactional finance operations across the group. This leadership role requires expertise in transactional finance processes, financial controls, technology optimization, and process improvements for growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set team vision, drive performance, develop a high-performing finance team
• Manage AP, AR, Credit Control, and Financial Systems teams
• Lead month-end close, reconciliations, and financial controls
• Identify automation opportunities to streamline operations
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and finance heads to provide insights and resolve escalations
• Ensure compliance with finance policies, VAT principles, and jurisdictional regulations

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Proven team management and transactional finance experience
• Experience overseeing finance in a multi-entity environment is beneficial
• Ability to review processes and suggest automation improvements
• Strong commercial mindset, managing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Advanced Excel skills; NetSuite or Oracle experience is a plus
• Experience in hospitality, travel, or real estate sectors is preferred but not essential

Additional Details:

This role is hybrid, with 4 days onsite and 1 day remote. Applicants must live within a commutable distance to Bristol. No relocation package is offered. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK.
