A fast-growing wellness firm in London seeks a Head of Finance to drive financial control and operations during an exciting expansion phase. The role involves overseeing all financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and supporting new site rollouts. The ideal candidate is a fully qualified accountant with extensive multi-site experience in hospitality or wellness sectors, and proficiency in Xero and Excel. Strong communication skills and an ability to thrive in a scale-up environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
• Experience in multi-site environments, preferably in hospitality or wellness.
• Strong understanding of payroll, pensions, and financial controls.
• Strong payroll, pensions, SSP and internal control frameworks experience.
• Familiarity with booking platforms, payment gateways and income‑in‑advance models.
• Hands-on experience supporting new site builds and CAPEX documentation.
• Advanced Xero and Excel/Sheets capability; BI inputs (PowerBI).
• Strong communicator able to support and educate non‑finance teams.

About the Company

We are a fast‑growing, design‑led operator in the wellness and hospitality sector, recently backed by a successful fundraise and entering an exciting expansion phase. The finance function is central to how the business scales, providing clarity, rigour and confidence during growth acceleration.

Responsibilities

• Lead financial control, reporting, month‑end, reconciliations and statutory compliance.
• Oversee VAT, payroll, revenue recognition, deferred income and financial documentation.
• Own Xero integrity and drive process automation, including supporting a major system integration in 2026.
• Manage payments, AP/AR discipline, cash control, banking governance and supplier relationships.
• Support financial operations for new site rollouts: invoice processing, CAPEX tracking, documentation and post‑handover reconciliations.
• Provide weekly commercial insights on labour %, occupancy and yield to guide operational decisions.
• Partner cross‑functionally with People, Operations and Growth teams.

Qualifications

• Advanced Xero and Excel/Sheets capability; comfort with BI inputs (e.g., PowerBI).
• Strong communicator able to support and educate non‑finance teams.
