A well-known Scottish charity is seeking an Interim Head of Finance for an initial 6-month contract with a view to permanent hire. Responsibilities include overseeing financial governance, producing management accounts, and leading budgeting processes. Candidates must be fully qualified accountants with experience in line management and a collaborative approach to leadership. The role requires a hybrid working model with a minimum of 2 office days per week.
We are delighted to be working in partnership with a well-known Scottish charity as they look to appoint an interim Head of Finance on an initial 6mth contract, with a view to then making a permanent appointment. They have their Head Office in Fife but operate a hybrid working policy with a minimum of 2 days expected in the office.
As Head of Finance, you’ll be responsible for both the operational and strategic leadership of the Finance function, ensuring strong financial governance and contributing to long-term business planning. In addition to managing the day to day running of the Finance function, you’ll produce and analyse monthly management accounts, oversee cash flow and investments, and guide the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
