  • Lead and develop a junior finance team to ensure reliable month-end closes, maintain financial integrity, and uphold internal controls.
  • Develop and implement quarterly financial reports to provide visibility on performance, aid resource allocation, and inform leadership decisions.
  • Establish budgeting and forecasting frameworks, identify inefficiencies, and refine financial policies to support growth.
  • Enhance cost governance through controls over intercompany funding, internal recharges, and third-party spending.
  • Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and liquidity planning to ensure financial flexibility.
  • Oversee tax compliance, transfer pricing, and cash operations across UK and US entities.
  • Ensure timely FCA regulatory filings and statutory submissions.
  • Promote cost efficiency and financial discipline organization-wide to sustain lean operations and maximize ROI.
Requirements:
  • Professional accountancy qualification (preferably ACA or equivalent)
  • Experience in a Top 20 Accountancy firm is preferred
  • Significant post-qualification experience, ideally in Private Equity, Venture Capital, or high-growth Tech startups/scale-ups
  • Strong academic background
  • Familiarity with modern cloud/AI financial tools
  • Competitive bonus and carry
  • Full benefits package available upon request
