Job Description

VANRATH is delighted to be working with a well-known NICS ALB in their recruitment of a Head of Finance & Corporate Services. This role is ideal for a Qualified Accountant with public sector experience to lead a finance team within the Civil Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for high-level financial management, ensuring robust financial controls, and supporting strategic financial planning and decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Financial Reporting and Corporate Services within ALB
  2. Developing and monitoring revenue and capital expenditure budgets
  3. Delivery and reporting to the Executive and Senior Management Teams
  4. Reviewing and approving Capital Projects & Business Cases
  5. Overseeing Corporate Governance, Risk, HR, IT, & Procurement
  6. Managing a multidisciplinary team

Qualifications
