This is an excellent role for a qualified accountant with public sector experience to lead a finance team within the Civil Service. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing high-level financial management, ensuring robust financial controls, and supporting strategic financial planning and decision-making. This position requires a deep understanding of public sector finance, strong analytical skills, and effective communication with senior management and stakeholders.
Qualified accountant with a recognized professional body (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ICAEW, CIPFA). Strong knowledge of public sector accounting standards and regulations. Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial modelling.
