Job Description:

This role is ideal for a Qualified Accountant with public sector experience to lead a finance team within the Civil Service. The successful candidate will oversee high-level financial management, ensure robust financial controls, and support strategic financial planning and decision-making. Key responsibilities include:

• Managing Financial Reporting and Corporate Services within ALB
• Developing and monitoring revenue and capital expenditure budgets
• Delivering reports to the Executive and Senior Management Teams
• Reviewing and approving Capital Projects & Business Cases
• Overseeing Corporate Governance, Risk, HR, IT, & Procurement
• Managing a multidisciplinary team
