What to expect

As a Head of Finance Business Partnering - Operations & Inquiry, you will be a senior member of the Finance Business Partnering team. Responsible for the development and delivery of functional strategies, always role modelling the Post Office behaviours and demonstrating a Postmaster first mindset.

The Head of Finance Business Partnering - Operations & Inquiry will partner the Chief Operating Officer and the Inquiry Director and their teams for activities related to Central Operations, Supply Chain, Property, Remediation, and the Public Inquiry. Responsible for fostering a culture of inclusion, continuous improvement, and high performance within their teams, and for delivering and driving decision-making across the Business, Customers, and Partners.

You will be an experienced Head of Finance with strong leadership skills, senior stakeholder relationships, and expert financial advisory capabilities.

Qualifications

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive PQE experience at senior levels and strong financial leadership skills.

Experience

  • Leading large teams and collaborating with senior leaders to shape and deliver strategic objectives.
  • Managing multiple stakeholders and leading cross-functional projects to drive results.
  • Leading change initiatives aligned with business strategies.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders to develop and execute commercially robust strategies that deliver value in complex or fast-paced environments.
  • Developing and leading teams of finance professionals committed to transformation.
  • Demonstrating leadership, confidence, and shared responsibility for the business's future.

  • Expert advice in Finance and accounting, with broad knowledge of related areas.
