The role is responsible for budgeting and reporting on the charity’s financial performance to the Chief Executive and the Board of Trustees.

As Head of Finance and Governance, you will lead accounting, financial management and governance of the charity. You will be responsible for providing strategic financial leadership to the Chief Executive, the Board of Trustees and Sub-committees.
We are looking for a qualified accountant with a calm and professional attitude and approach.
You will have a strong understanding of accounting policies and packages such as Xero.
Knowledge of The Charities Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP), charity law and VAT will help you stand out from the crowd.
You will have an excellent eye for detail and the ability to think critically and make clear decisions under pressure.
You will have excellent people skills and work well on your own and as part of a team.
Manage Energise Me’s financial and accounting functions, related policies and reporting, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards, regulations and procedures.
Guide the preparation of annual budgets and the creation of a three-year financial strategy.
Manage the payroll and personnel requirements of the charity.
Line manage the Finance and IT Manager.
Manage the external contractor who provides secretarial support to the charity.
