Job Description:

Middletown Centre for Autism is seeking to recruit a Head of Finance and Corporate Services for a permanent, full-time position. The salary ranges from £68,436 to £71,662 (SCP 5861), plus benefits. The role is based in Middletown, County Armagh, Northern Ireland.

About the Role:

Middletown Centre for Autism promotes excellence in education services for autistic children and young people across Ireland. This pivotal role involves shaping the operational framework to support our mission, leading a multidisciplinary team across Finance, HR, IT, Governance, and more in a cross-border organization recognized internationally for innovation and expertise.

Candidate Requirements:

  • A degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (or equivalent).
  • Membership in a recognized professional accounting body (e.g., CAI, ACCA, CIMA).
  • At least three years of senior management experience with a proven track record in financial and HR management, strategy development, and delivering complex programs.
  • Proficiency in corporate governance, risk management, and business planning frameworks.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written), with experience presenting to boards or similar audiences.
  • Access to transport for travel across Ireland and the UK.
