Our Client

A well-established, UK-based construction contractor is seeking a commercially minded and operationally capable Head of Finance to support its senior leadership team. With a long-standing reputation for quality, strong client relationships, and investment-backed growth, the business delivers complex steelwork solutions to customers across a wide range of sectors nationwide.

The Role

The Head of Finance will play a key role in ensuring effective coordination across the company's operational, financial, commercial, and production functions. Acting as a central point of alignment, the role will help drive execution of strategic objectives, maintain clarity on priorities, and embed consistent processes across the business.

The role will also contribute to improving workflows, operational visibility, and cross-functional collaboration, enabling the business to perform at its best during a period of planned growth.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong financial background (ideally qualified or equivalent) and relevant experience in construction, engineering, or fabrication environments. They will be pragmatic, well-organised, and confident in coordinating across teams to help drive accountability, performance, and day-to-day operational discipline.
