Head of Finance FMCG B-Corp Challenger Brand

Location: Remote

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

About the Brand

Our client is a fast-growing, values-led challenger brand in the FMCG space, operating as a certified B-Corp. The business has built a strong reputation for producing pure, natural personal care products with a focus on sustainability, transparency, and ethical manufacturing.

The Opportunity

Our client is seeking a commercially astute Head of Finance to lead financial operations and strategy as they continue to scale. This pivotal role offers a broad remit, working closely with the founder-led leadership team and providing critical insight across the business.

Key Responsibilities:

• Cashflow and working capital management
• Annual budgeting and forecasting
• Approval of commercial proposals and support to the sales team on pricing/contracts
• Product costing and maintenance of cost databases
• Oversight and administration of the ERP system (NetSuite)
• Supplier and customer due diligence and contract reviews
• Coordination with external accountants on statutory accounts, VAT returns, and R&D claims
• Payroll oversight (via outsourced provider) and Breathe HR admin
• Line management of Finance Assistant and collaboration across departments
• Weekly reporting on sales channels vs budget/forecast
• Monthly performance analysis and management accounts for the Directors
• Support with EU trading and cost modelling alongside Supply Chain and NPD

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will bring strong financial acumen, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment. They should have:

• Proven finance leadership experience within FMCG, particularly with UK retailers
• Solid understanding of ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite/Netstock preferred)
• Excellent analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)
• Experience working in or an affinity with B-Corp or values-led organisations
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a hands-on and proactive approach
