Your new company
A global pharmaceuticals company is currently recruiting for a Head of Finance to join their high-performing finance team. With an overseas parent company, your new employer is based in London, where all UK and Europe activities are managed. Your new role
You will have a varied role, covering aspects of financial planning, operational finance and accounting for the European region. Your role will include but not be limited to:

  1. Leading a team of over 10 finance staff to deliver timely and accurate results
  2. Responsible for all budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning
  3. Business partnering with department heads and the executive committee
  4. Providing strategic objectives for the European finance team
  5. Manage internal and external audits and further introduce solutions to improve controls
  6. Develop finance systems and support with systems changes

What you'll need to succeed
This role would be well suited to an experienced Financial Controller or Head of Finance. You will also hold an ACCA, CIMA or ACA Qualification with post-qualification experience in the pharmaceutical sector. You will enjoy working with stakeholders across the business and leading and mentoring teams. This role will require high levels of business partnering, so experience working on financial planning and presenting finance to non-finance stakeholders is key. You will also have experience working in fast-paced organisations with an international presence. French or German language skills would be advantageous.
