Shape the financial future of the UK’s largest independent ski tour operator.

We’re looking for an experienced finance professional to join Skiworld as our new Head of Finance. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for steering our financial strategy, ensuring regulatory compliance, optimising operational performance - and helping us continue delivering exceptional ski holidays to our customers.


What You'll be Doing:
  • Leading the finance function across the UK, France and Austria, aligning with Skiworld’s commercial objectives
  • Overseeing financial reporting, management accounts, statutory compliance, and audit processes
  • Building financial models, forecasts, and cashflow projections to guide strategic decisions
  • Managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimising working capital and treasury functions
  • Driving improvements across financial systems and internal controls
  • Leading a high-performing team (Finance: 2.5 FTE | IT: 1 FTE), fostering collaboration and development
  • Playing a central role in our company-wide crisis management team

What We're Looking For:

Must-Haves:

  • A fully qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Proven experience leading a finance team across the full finance function
  • Strong data reporting and modelling skills, with advanced Excel and VBA proficiency
  • Solid grasp of IT systems, infrastructure and compliance
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset and the confidence to work at board level

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in the travel or ski industry
  • French and/or German language skills
  • Knowledge of Python or other programming languages
