BeyondAutism is a charity dedicated to empowering autistic people to lead lives full of choice, independence and opportunity through positive educational experiences, training for the people who work with them and support for their families and carers. We run two Independent Special Schools for children aged 4–19, a Post-19 service, Outreach and Training, and an Early Years’ service.

We’re seeking a strategic, solutions-focused finance professional to lead our financial strategy and operations. As Head of Finance, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring long-term sustainability, working closely with the COO, CEO, Trustees and wider team to drive data-led decisions and keep our mission on track.

About The Role

This is a strategic and hands-on role at the heart of our senior leadership team. You’ll oversee financial planning, reporting and compliance—ensuring our services remain financially strong, accountable and ready for growth. From managing audits to modelling new projects, your work will underpin every aspect of our impact.

What You’ll Need

• Qualified accountant with strong knowledge of Charity SORP
• 5+ years post-qualification experience in a finance leadership role
• Track record of strategic budgeting, forecasting and compliance
• Skilled communicator, confident translating complex finance for all audiences
• Proactive, collaborative and able to work across teams and with Trustees
• Experience in the charity or education sector (desirable)
