Our client, a dynamic and rapidly growing organisation at the forefront of their industry are seeking an experienced and results-driven technically strong Head of Finance to join their leadership team and provide strategic financial guidance while ensuring robust technical financial systems, reporting, and compliance. This is a unique opportunity to work in a high-impact role with the chance to shape the financial future of a forward-thinking company.

Key Responsibilities:
Technical Accounting & Reporting: Oversee technical accounting practices and ensure compliance with accounting standards, such as IFRS and GAAP. Develop and implement best practices for financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
Risk Management & Compliance: Develop and manage a robust risk management framework. Ensure compliance with all tax, financial reporting, and regulatory obligations. Conduct regular internal audits to assess and mitigate financial risk.
Strategic Financial Leadership: Provide expert financial direction to support the organisation's strategic initiatives and long-term goals. Collaborate with the executive team to align financial strategy with business objectives.
Systems Optimisation: Lead the enhancement and management of financial systems, tools, and technology to improve efficiency, data integrity, and reporting capabilities.
Leadership & Team Development: Lead and develop a high-performing finance team. Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment, providing mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities to direct reports.
Financial Analysis & Forecasting: Spearhead the preparation of financial analysis, budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis to guide decision-making. Provide insights on financial performance and identify opportunities for cost-saving and revenue-generating initiatives.
Mergers & Acquisitions Support: Support M&A activity through financial due diligence, integration planning, and post-transaction performance monitoring.

The successful candidate will be fully ACA qualified, with a background in practice and has hands-on experience in a technical finance based role. The business enjoys a healthy balance sheet with great scope for the future for growth.
