The Royal Hospital School is a leading independent co-educational boarding and day school for ages 11 to 18, set in 200 acres of stunning Suffolk countryside overlooking the River Stour.

The Royal Hospital School has the following vacancy required to start as soon as possible:
HEAD OF FINANCE – Fixed Term contract to December 2026
This is an exciting opportunity to lead the finance team at the school and embrace a period of change. This role will lead on all aspects of financial management and control for the School, including reporting, budgets/forecasting, cash management and oversight of risks and opportunities. The successful candidate will be expected to work to make improvements to finance processes and there will be the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Finance on a number of projects.
Please note that if shortlisted for interview at the school, you will also be required to complete the Royal Hospital School application form.
It is an office-based role, with possible one day per week working remotely, subject to the needs of the School.
