Overview

Our client, a leading business in the Manufacturing sector, is seeking a Head of Finance to join them on a full-time, permanent basis.

Working closely with the Finance Director, the Head of Finance will help oversee the day-to-day running of the finance function, ensuring robust compliance and reporting across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a small finance team of 2, ensuring the efficient delivery of daily finance functions
• Lead month-end close process, delivering timely and accurate management accounts
• Prepare and submit monthly reports
• Prepare quarterly VAT returns
• Manage and oversee payroll
• Support and assist within internal finance projects
• Support the Finance Director with analysis and ad hoc tasks
• Complete intercompany reconciliations and reports

Key Experience

• Qualified Accountant - ACA / ACCA / CIMA with a minimum of 2 years' in-house experience
• Must have a hands-on approach, happy to get involved with different areas of the business where necessary
• Experience working with partner companies would be advantageous
• Strong experience in management accounts, payroll, VAT returns, reporting and intercompany processes
• ERP experience would be ideal although not essential
• Confident working with management of all levels across the business
