Bolton Impact Trust seeks a dedicated Head of Finance to oversee financial processes and engage with a growing team across multiple academies. This role demands an experienced accountant to support operational excellence and compliance within a dynamic educational environment. You'll need to have excellent organisational and communication skills, alongside strong analytical abilities to make a tangible impact on the lives of children and young people.
Bolton Impact Trust (BIT) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Head of Finance to manage and coordinate the financial requirements and processes across the Trust and its academies. The Trust currently consists of four AP and Special Academies, and further growth is imminent with the onboarding of our first mainstream secondary school close to completion. You will support the ongoing operational and financial development of our schools. To ensure that your role responds to the Trust's needs and delivers the Trust's visions and aims, you will work closely with the CEO, CFO and Central Team Colleagues as part of the Trust's Senior Leadership Team.
The role is varied and includes working in the central team in a reporting and compliance role, supporting an existing portfolio of Academies and being involved in due diligence and the onboarding processes for new schools joining Bolton Impact Trust as part of our growth strategy.
The role would be suitable for an experienced, qualified accountant who is already working within the education sector or is keen to move into an organisation and sector which makes a difference to the lives of children and young people.
The post holder will report directly to the CFO with accountability for oversight of the Trust's financial processes and business services. If you feel you have the right skills and attributes, then we will be delighted to hear from you.
