Yeovil College seeks a CCAB-qualified finance leader to shape strategy and performance. You will drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting, providing insight to support sustainable growth and corporate decision-making.

You will lead and develop the finance team, oversee management and year-end accounts, strengthen controls and systems, ensure robust compliance, evaluate new programmes and apprenticeships' viability, and present findings to Corporation committees.

Formación

• CCAB qualified with at least five years' post-qualification experience.
• Experience leading and developing a Finance team, ideally in FE or similar.
• Confidence in managing computerised accounting systems and producing timely reports.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with project accounting and costings.
• Forward-thinking approach to improving financial processes, including automation.
• Commercially minded and highly organised with strong communication of financial information.

Leading our Finance Department,you'll be at the heart of the College's strategic and commercial decision-making. Working closely with the Vice Principal Finance and Corporate Services, you'll drive financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and reporting,providing the insight and challenge needed to make the most of our resources and support sustainable growth.You'lllead and develop a talented team, oversee management and year-end accounts, strengthen financial systems and controls, and ensure robust compliance across the College. • CCAB qualified, with at least five years' post-qualification experience and strong technical finance expertise.
• Proven experience leading and developing a Finance team, ideally within FE or a similar organisation.
• Confident managing computerised accounting systems, producing timely financial reports and completing monthly balance sheet reviews.
• Advanced Excel skills, with experience in project accounting, costing products and assessing financial viability.
• A forward-thinking approach to improving financial processes, embracing AI, automation and smarter ways of working.
• Commercially minded and highly organiser, able to prioritise independently, meet tight deadlines and communicate complex financial information clearly.

• Annual salary: £49,643 - £59,994
• Full time, 37 hoursper week all year round
