Job description

Brinsworth Academy is seeking to appoint an experienced, hardworking and emotionally intelligent leader to join our middle leadership team as Head of our Humanities Faculty.

This new role will provide additional leadership capacity across the faculty and will involve both strategic and frontline leadership of History and Geography, working in partnership and with direct line management of subject leads. You will play a key role in improving teaching and learning standards, supporting staff development, and ensuring high expectations are embedded across the faculty.

We are looking for an outstanding practitioner with a background in one or more of the humanities subjects and a proven track record of delivering outstanding subject outcomes. You will possess extensive teaching experience within your subject area, as well as experience of subject/whole school leadership.
