The Role

As Head of Facilities Management, you will take ownership of the maintenance, compliance, and operational efficiency of the company's extensive property portfolio. Leading a dedicated in-house team and external contractors, you will be responsible for:

1. Developing and managing key supplier and contractor relationships
2. Overseeing maintenance schedules, ensuring full statutory and legal compliance
3. Managing budgets, controlling costs, and driving continuous improvements
4. Implementing strategic changes to enhance operational efficiency
5. Leading infrastructure and property-based FM system development
6. Ensuring best practices in workplace safety and sustainability

What We're Looking For

1. Extensive senior-level experience in Facilities Management
2. Proven track record in multi-site operations (retail, wholesale, hospitality, or leisure preferred)
3. Strong technical knowledge and contract administration expertise
4. Excellent leadership skills with experience managing engineering teams and external consultants
5. Comprehensive understanding of Health & Safety regulations and energy management
6. Strategic thinker with outstanding budget and cost-control skills
7. Professional membership (RICS, CIOB, BIFM) is a plus
