Priory Bristol is seeking an experienced Head of Facilities to lead estates, health and safety, and compliance across the site. You’ll manage contractors, budgets and capital projects while maintaining the highest standards of care and safety.
This on-site leadership role requires strong communication, a track record in healthcare or hospitality facilities, and qualifications such as IOSH or NEBOSH. You will also be part of the hospital Senior Management Team and join an on-call rota at times.
Priory Hospital Bristol Salary - £48,000 per annum Full-time - 37.5 hours per week
We’re looking for an experienced and hands‑on Head of Facilities to join our team and play a key role in keeping our hospital safe, well‑maintained and running smoothly. You will also be part of an on‑call rota.
Priory Hospital Bristol, Stapleton, Bristol is a specialist mental health and addiction treatment service for individuals, families and couples. It provides fast access to treatment for a range of psychiatric conditions and addictions. It is accessible by public transport, with local bus routes serving Stapleton and Bristol Parkway railway station approximately 2-3 miles from the hospital.
This is a varied leadership role where you’ll take ownership of everything from facilities management, health and safety and compliance through to contractors, budgets, maintenance and capital projects. You’ll be a visible presence across the hospital, building strong relationships with colleagues, suppliers and external partners and helping to drive continuous improvements across the hospital.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role within hospitality or healthcare, with a strong track record of senior leadership and direct line management. You’ll also ideally have a Health & Safety qualification such as IOSH or NEBOSH, along with experience of budget management and strong communication skills.
