As a Head of Sales for Searcys you will support and manage a sales team and ensure they are coached and mentored to achieve exceptional results.

As the Head of Event (Maternity Cover), you would be responsible for;

• To manage the day to day operations of the venue,providingonsite direction and oversight, technical proficiency, and operational support to ensure thatSearcys and the venue are recognised as a "London thing to do"
• Actively mentoring and supporting the Sales Manager and Events teamsto meet Searcysquality standards and to promote a positive, enthusiastic, and collaborative working environment.
• Build effective planning and delivery processes in place to ensure smooth running of all events.
• Lead weeklyteam meetings and briefing sessions, ensuring all partieshave the information and support they need to deliver exceptional, 5 star service.
• Strategic annual planning, withfinancial targets, and concise reporting.
• Oversight of schedules, employee check-ins, equipment inspection, EPOS monitoring and troubleshooting, guest complaint resolution, training, food production, clean-up, post-event reconciliation and reporting.
• Ensure that all venue policies, procedures, and practices are adhered to, including compliance with alcohol service and food handling / sanitation guidelines, general safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

We are looking to hear from candidates who have a proven track record of delivering show stopping, world class events with a keen eye for detail and numbers, whilst having exceptional interpersonal skills when liaising with team members, Senior Management and clients.

You will need to be able to work well in a fast-paced, event driven environment and be able to make sound operational decisions quickly and under pressure.

This role will be based in the City of London, working 5 over 7 days and predominantly evenings.
