Job description

Salary: £61,734.17 (gross) per annum inclusive of London Weighting, with a fixed sum allowance of £1,153. There is the ability to progress to £68,343.99 over the next 2 years.

Location: Head Office – London
Duration: Permanent

The Labour Party is looking to recruit a Head of Visits and Events. The post-holder will be responsible for specific Labour Party events, including overall site management of the Annual Conference, ensuring that all events promote the Party’s image and political message effectively. The postholder will manage the strategy, logistical, operational, and budgetary aspects of all Frontbench Visits and Events, contributing to the delivery of national Labour Party campaigns in line with the party’s strategic plan.

Requirements:
  • A thorough knowledge and understanding of the structure and organisation of the Labour Party
  • Experience of managing events from concept to completion, including national-level events
  • Strong experience in people management
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, delegate, and schedule work related to events
