Our client, nestled in the heart of Manchester, is a global organisation supporting brands worldwide - with a thriving Marketing & Events team! We're looking for an experienced Head of Events to support that wider team, drive business growth, and take those events to the next level!

As the Head of Events, you'll take full ownership of our client's events program, focusing on maximising new business opportunities. This is a permanent role focused on delivering strategic events - both webinars and seminars - to promote the brand, showcase products, and drive ROI.

Day to Day
  1. Leading the planning, coordination, and execution of seminars and events to drive revenue.
  2. Setting and exceeding departmental targets by overseeing current events, developing new event types, and managing the event calendar.
  3. Identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to optimise performance.
  4. Collaborating with various departments and maintaining strong working relationships to ensure events run smoothly.
  5. Analysing event metrics, including sales revenue, conversion rates, and attendance, to inform decision-making.
  6. Providing leadership and support to your team, assigning tasks, and driving accountability.
  7. Creating and reviewing marketing materials for seminars and events.
  8. Presenting event performance data and updates to senior leadership.

YOU?
  1. Proven experience in managing successful seminars and events, with a focus on new business acquisition.
  2. Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate, coach, and inspire a small team.
  3. Strong communication skills for effective interaction with both internal and external stakeholders.
  4. Confidence in presenting analysis and event outcomes to senior-level management.
  5. Experience with CRM systems and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
