NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking an experienced Head of Estates to provide strategic leadership for operational estates across one of the largest healthcare estates in Scotland. You will shape the Operational Estates Strategy, oversee compliance and safety, and drive the ten-year estate plan to support clinical priorities.

• Chartered professional status in an engineering- or construction-related discipline.
• An accredited honours degree, supported by a master’s degree or equivalent.
• A management qualification at HNC level or above.
• Significant senior management experience in a large, complex organisation; healthcare experience desirable.
• Proven experience in strategy development, change management, project management, financial control and workforce leadership.
• Excellent analytical, planning and IT skills with strong communication and relationship-management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic, technical and professional leadership for operational estates across NHSGGC.
• Develop and deliver the Operational Estates Strategy and ten-year estate development plan.
• Ensure robust compliance, governance and health and safety culture.
• Lead maintenance, energy management, sustainability and environmental programmes.
• Manage workforce and financial resources with controls and value-for-money delivery.
• Develop estates workforce through leadership, planning, mentoring and development.
• Collaborate with clinical, facilities, planning, procurement and asset partners.
• Represent NHSGGC at regional and national levels to influence policy and best practice.
