About the Role

Our client is a market-leading and award-winning multi-disciplinary consultancy specialising in Planning, Design and the Environment. Responsibilities

Overall management of the EIA Business Unit:

• Oversee operations and implement appropriate business strategies.
• Ensure effective Health and Safety in the Unit.
• Participate in Monthly Planning Board Meetings for key decisions.
• Review and approve tender pricing.
• Ensure compliance with Company Policies and Procedures, sharing best practices.

Team Leadership and Development

• Recruit and develop high-calibre employees supporting current operations and growth, collaborating with HR and leadership.
• Communicate effectively with the team, promoting a client-focused culture.
• Lead, motivate, and update the team on business performance and strategy.
• Manage P&L, budget, profitability, and SHEQ aspects.
• Plan future resources in consultation with other divisions.
• Manage significant projects autonomously to high standards.
• Provide technical leadership within relevant fields.

Skills & Attributes

Experience in EIA, from consultancy or industry, with a well-connected network preferred. Membership in a relevant professional body is advantageous. The candidate should have a strong understanding of EIA processes, project management experience, and good communication skills.
